Dr Kathryn Leask
Kathryn has been a medico-legal adviser with the MDU since 2007 and is a team leader, trainer and mentor in the medical advisory department. Before joining the MDU, she worked in paediatrics gaining her MRCPCH in 2002 and holds a CCT in clinical genetics. She has an MA in Healthcare Ethics and Law, a Bachelor of Law and a Professional Doctorate in Medical Ethics. She is also a fellow of the Faculty of Forensic and Legal Medicine and has previously been an examiner and deputy chief examiner for the faculty. Kathryn is currently a member of the faculty’s training and education subcommittee and a member of the Royal College of Pathologists (medical examiner).
Tazim Hoque
Tazim Hoque is a resident doctor at Luton and Dunstable University Hospital. During medical school, he developed a strong interest in how technology can enhance patient care and healthcare systems. This led him to pursue internships and fellowships in digital health. Outside of medicine, he enjoys visiting new countries, coding, and staying active. He hopes to see medical education evolve alongside the rise of AI and innovation in healthcare.
Nilay Sah
Nilay Sah is a fourth-year medical student at University College London (UCL). He is currently editor-in-chief of the RUMS Review, the UCL medical school magazine, and has a strong passion for medical journalism and politics. In the future he hopes to balance clinical practice with his love for writing, leadership and debating.
Daniel Aaron Levy
Daniel Aaron Levy is a third-year medical student at the University of Bristol and is passionate about mental health. He has a background in humanities and is interested in the utilisation of arts and the social sciences to explore questions of wellbeing and happiness. Having long been interested in neuropsychology, he hopes to synthesise different fields of academia to help inform medics and the general public about ourselves and human nature.
